Sorting Assets
The main grid of the Assets module offers you the possibility to sort all asset items maintained in the module. Assets can be sorted by all columns currently available in the grid (e.g. number, name, serial number, type, location, status, etc.). To perform a sorting operation by the criteria you choose, click the appropriate header name:
All assets will be displayed in groups, descending in alphabetical order depending on the column you have applied. If you click the same header one more time, the assets will be displayed in ascending order.
Example:
If you click the Asset Type header, all asset entries will be sorted by asset type in alphabetical order (let’s assume we have three asset types: PC, Furniture, and Consumable). The first displayed assets are Consumable. Next appears Furniture, then last is PC.
