Filters
Purpose: An alternate way of sorting asset items is by using filters. Filters are available on the main page of the Assets module above the column names.
Prerequisites: Information to sort, Filter types set up (i.e. Statuses, Locations, etc.).
With these filters, you can filter your assets to display those you would like to see. Currently, four filters for asset parameters are available: you can filter by asset types, locations, statuses, and owners separately or simultaneously.
Steps:
- From the pulldown menus, select the desired options.
For example, to display all Furniture entries located in the head office with any status and any owner, select Furniture from the Asset Type pulldown and Head Office from the Location list leaving default value (All) in the fields Status and Owner.
- Click the Apply Filters button located above the filters pane.
You will be presented with assets matching the specified criteria (if any).
