Enhancements to Custom Rules in Version 5.20
The following changes were made to Custom Rules in Version 5.2.
- Added the Ability to Add a Workflow to a Draft Copy of an Article.
This applies to Users that do not have "Change Article Status" enabled in their Role. You can create a custom rule to add a Workflow to a final draft of an Article. When creating the custom rule ensure you select Send for Approval as the Event.
When the User saves the final draft of an Article and clicks the "Send Approval" button, the designated Workflow is added to the Article.
- Added the Ability to Set a Custom Rule to run for a Specific Period.
You can now set a Start Date and an End Date for Custom Rules.
- Added the Ability to Delete the First Instance of a Condition and Action.
Previously, if you had multiple conditions and you wanted to delete one of the conditions, you would need to delete and re-enter the conditions. You can not delete a previous condition without deleting all of the other conditions.
