The Software Functionality for PC Inventory
Purpose:
To view an alphabetical list of software that is installed. The user is able to enter the quantity of licenses purchased for each software package plus see what computer each of the software packages is installed on. Check out the new

pertaining to this topic!
Prerequisites:
Login script updated with getsysinfo.exe.
Steps:
Click the
PC Inventory
link on the top toolbar.
Click the
Software
link.
A list of the software installed will now appear.
The functionality on this screen is as follows:
Select the print icon
to print the current list .
Select the Excel button
to export the list to Excel.
Select the edit icon
to edit the Qty Licensed for that software package.
Note:
If the Qty Licensed is less than Qty Installed then a negative icon
will appear in the Qty Available column with a negative numeric value.
Select the view icon
to view the computers which have this software installed.
Note:
The user will be able to click on each computer that the software is installed on and see detailed information regarding that computer.
To sort by a specific column, click the heading label for which you would like the list sorted by. The column heading must be unlined for the table to be sorted by it.
If additional software has been installed on a computer, click the
Refresh PC Inventory
link to updated the software list.
Once the refresh is performed, the software title will be placed in the list alphabetically and the Qty Licensed will be blank until the admin user edits it.
