Configuring the End User Read Only View

Description of End User Request Read Only View
The purpose of the End User Request Read Only View is to have a URL that end users can go to to see a list of their Requests and click on a link to see a detail view of the Request.  This view prevents them from being able to update the Request in any way.  The primary method for authentication is with the Novo Active Directory module and securing this directory to be available to end users (i.e. and blocking end user access to the main Novo public/end user view (i.e. http://servername/virtualdirectory/)
Request Columns
  • The following fields are the only fields available on the Request List, though all available fields are displayed in the detailed Request view (this provides a clean and fast/responsive list)
    • Request Problem/Issue
    • Add Date
    • Status
    • Priority
    • Category
  • Clicking on the Request Problem/Issue or the magnifying glass icon will display the Request details.

Banner, Colors & Fonts Configuration
  • The banner that is displayed is defined in:
Admin -> Setup -> Customize Banners -> HTML Header for User Pages
Note: This banner also changes the main Novo public/end user view (i.e. http://servername/virtualdirectory/)
  • Customizing Fonts and Colors (see related article for details)
  • Note: Changing the Fonts and Colors above will change the entire application.
  • Background row colors default to alternating colors unless Priorities are used and defined with colors in:
Admin -> Setup -> Request Priorities
