Novo Software 4.31.04 Release Notes

This is the official release of version 4.31.

 
Fixed
The following issues have been fixed/corrected in this version:
  • Numerous changes have been made from version 4.2 to version 4.31.  New Release Notes articles will be added as future versions of 4.3 and above are released.

Known Issues

The items listed below are known issues (with workarounds where possible) but where not deemed critical enough to delay this release.  These issues may be corrected in a future release.
  • Editing Dashboard Web Parts
    • Description: Editing Web Parts (Dashboard - Edit - Configure Web Parts - Menu Edit for an individual Web Part) with Internet Explorer 6.0 sometimes crashes and closes the browser.  
    • Workaround (if available): Upgrade to Internet Explorer 7.0
  • Report Filters
    • Description: The filter function on certain reports (Admin - Reports) does not work correctly.  Reports affected: 
      • Account and Contact Details: The "Not Equal To" Operand does not work for Account Type. 
      • Asset By Details (All fields), Tickets By Details (All Fields): User Defined Date Fields do not filter correctly using the "Equal To" or "Greater Than" Operands.
    • Workaround (if available): Try to use other Operand combinations.  These issues will be corrected in a future update.
  • Help Files for Cute Editor
    • Description:
      • When clicking on the Help icon from within the Editor, the resulting help page does not display any icon images.
    • Workaround (if available):  This issue will be corrected in an upcoming patch.
