Configuration of PCI with Windows 2003 Server
In order for Windows Server 2003 to be able to properly handle the PC inventory module, please ensure that the following configuration steps have been applied: - Deselect “ASP pages are prohibited” (This is a default setting that causes “Page Cannot be Displayed” error when accessing the login page), following:
- Open IIS (Internet Information Services)
- Click the Web Service Extensions folder.
- In the details pane, select the Web service extension you wish to enable, and then click Allow.
- The "Enable Parent Paths" configuration option on the Novo Software virtual directory is unchecked. Follow the procedure outlined below to Enable Parent Paths:
- Open IIS (Internet Information Services)
- Right mouse on the Novo website or virtual directory - select Properties
- Click Configuration
- Click the Options Tab
- Check "Enable Parent Paths"
- Click Ok...
Note: The default file upload size limit is set to 204,800 (200kb), and the default file download size limit is set to 204,800 (200kb). |
