5.00.03 Release Notes

5.00.03 Enhancements
Version 5.00.03 contains the following enhancements:

Knowledge Base

  • We replaced the Telerik HTML Editor with Cute Editor for Classic ASP. This will be a quicker editing experience and resolves several issues people were having with article caching and formatting.
  • We added the ability to sort search results for articles

Accounts & Contacts

  • We added jscript ability on account/contact search

Active Directory

  • We changed the way Novo executes Multi-LDAP Server queries to allow for trust relationships  

Request Management

  • We added the ability to delete multiple attachments in one action
  • We added the ability to require a Request Template when a request is created on the Public interface
  • We added more search and filtering abilities when relating an article from a request
  • We added the ability to sort search results for requests

Custom Rules

  • We changed Custom Rules to only run on a Save Action rather than any action that causes a Save (i.e.: a refresh event like viewing Notes)
  • We added new parameters into Request & Article custom rules making it easy to merge customer data with automated emails
  • We added the Drag & Drop ability for Rules to greatly simplify ordering

Workflow Tasks

  • We added the Task Description in New Tasks Notifications and changed the order of the notification tables on outgoing emails
    5.00.03 Fixes 
     
    Below are bugs and incidents that are resolved with version 5.00.03. 
    • We changed the Novo Mail Service to be compatible with Exchange 2013; depending on the configuration the service would not process received emails or would create requests with blank descriptions and/or notes
    • We fixed an issue where the Novo Mail Service returned an error: (401) Unauthorized' when checking a monitored account hosted on Outlook365
    • We fixed a display issue on the Edit Accounts page where the account's values were separated from their fields when related requests are expanded
    • We fixed an issue where URL's on outgoing emails were incorrectly formatted.
    • We fixed an issue where Initial Response date/time values were not calculated using the viewing user's selected time zone options
    • We fixed an error when deleting a Product that was associated with a request
    • We fixed some formatting and ordering issues with the Contact Form and Contact Registration forms
    • We fixed an error when sending a request to multiple email addresses and where an email address is incorrectly formatted
    • We fixed an issue where the Resolution was not included in outgoing email notifications when the Description was not enabled in the Template
    • We fixed an issue where Memorized Requests were not adding Requests with Custom Field Values
    • We fixed an issue where the Email URL link is wrong on Admin Notification when a question is submitted
    • We fixed an issue where UDFs would not show up when exporting Requests to Excel from the public interface
    5.00.03 Known Issues 

    The fixes for the following issues are expected in version 5.00.03.
