Edit the Escalation.bat Scheduled Task

Purpose: To edit the Scheduled Task for the escalation.bat file.

Prerequisites: Novo initial software settings, Module Configuration.

Steps:

  1. Open the Scheduled Tasks folder found in the Control Panel.
  2. Right click the task that was created for the escalation.bat file; then select properties.

  3. In the Run field: Type the system path to the Escalation batch file followed by the virtual root path and virtual directory as configured in IIS.

    Example:
    D:\program files\novo\app\com\escalation.bat
    http://support.yoursite.com/novo
  4. In the Start In field:  Type the system path to the Escalation batch file.

    Example:
    D:\program files\novo\app\com
  5. In the Run as field:  Type in the server administrator's login and password.
  6. Enable the scheduled task.




  7. Schedule Task:  Select "Daily"
  8. Start Time:  When you want the escalation.bat to begin.
  9. Schedule Task Daily:  Every 1 days



  10. Use the Advanced Schedule Options to configure Start and End Dates and to define the time parameters of the escalation.bat



  11. Use the Settings tab to configure other optional settings.



  12. Ensure that the server Administrator is added to the permissions for this task.
