Request Templates

Request templates provide users with the ease and convenience of creating new Requests that meet their custom layout and functionality requirements.  Request templates can also be used as default templates throughout the Help Desk module for creating Requests.

Creating and managing Request templates is performed on the Request Templates screen.

Note: To perform the following actions with Request Templates, the admin user must be granted the following permissions:

  • Manage Request Templates
  • Change Own Default Template
  • View/Select Request Templates
Set these permissions under Admin/Permissions/Roles/[edit any role].

Request Templates can also be assigned to specific Accounts.  See the Creating an Account Article.
