Request Management Display Settings



Field Description
Display Support Request Form in Admin View Enabling this option will display the "Add A Request" button in the administrative part of the Help Desk.
Display Support Request Form in Public View Enable this option to display the "Add A Request" button on the Public side of the Help Desk.  With this option AND "Enable Contacts for Public View" enabled (defined through the General Admin Settings), public customers can come to the web site, login, search Knowledge Base articles, add requests and review request history on the requests they have submitted.
Priorities in Admin View Enable this option to display the Priority selection control on the admin Edit Request interface.  You can define whether the control is optional or required.
Display Priorities in Public View Enable this option to display the priority on the public Requests grid where they view the list of all their requests.
Priorities on Public Support Request Form

Enable this option to display the priority selection control on the Public interface where a customer would add a request.  You can define whether the control is optional or required.

Sort Priorities Choose whether to display priorities alphabetically or in the order that they have been placed on the Priorities creation interface; (Admin>Setup>Help Desk Settings:Priorities)
Display Minutes to Review for Public View Enable this option to display the time value that is set for a given priority on the public Requests grid where they view the list of all their requests.
Products in Admin View Enable this option to display the Product selection control on the admin Edit Request interface.  You can define whether the control is optional or required.
Products in Public View Enable this option to display the Product selection control on the Public interface where a customer would add a request and on the public Requests grid where they view the list of all their requests. You can define whether the control is optional or required.
Categories in Admin View Enable this option to display the Category selection control on the admin Edit Request interface.  You can define whether the control is optional or required.
Categories in Public View Enable this option to display the Category selection control on the Public interface where a customer would add a request and on the public Requests grid where they view the list of all their requests. You can define whether the control is optional or required.
Content Types in Admin View Enable this option to display the Content Type selection control on the admin Edit Request interface.  You can define whether the control is optional or required.
Content Types in Public View Enable this option to display the Content Type selection control on the Public interface where a customer would add a request and on the public Requests grid where they view the list of all their requests. You can define whether the control is optional or required.
Display Groups in Admin View Enable this option to display the Group selection control on the admin Edit Request interface.  You can define whether the control is optional or required.
Display Groups in Public View Enable this option to display the Content Type selection control on the Public interface where a customer would add a request and on the public Requests grid where they view the list of all their requests. You can define whether the control is optional or required.
Display Request Assignment in Admin View Enable the Assign User control on the admin Edit Request interface.
Display Request Assignments in Public View Enable this to allow Customers to see who is assigned to their request.
Display Queue List in Public View Enable the Customer's ability to add and view requests on the public url.
Display Request # on Manage Requests List Determine whether the Request ID is displayed on the Manage Requests grid.
Display Account on Manage Requests List Determine whether the Customer's Account name is displayed on the Manage Requests grid.
Display Contact on Manage Requests List Determine whether the Customer's name is displayed on the Manage Requests grid.
Due Date in Admin View Enable this option to display the Due Date control on the admin Edit Request interface.  You can define whether the control is optional or required.
Display Due Date in Public View Enable this option to display the Due Date on the public Requests grid where Customers view the list of all their requests.
Allow Customers to Close Requests Enable a "Close" checkbox on the public Add Notes interface.  With this enabled, a Customer must provide a Note in order to close a request.
Default Request Template in Admin View Define the default template that will display for admin users that do not have a default template set for themselves.  The Default Template control on the Profile tab supersedes this option
Default Request Template in Public View Define the default template that will display for Customers when they create a request.
Request Templates in Public View Enable a Template selection control on the Customer's request list.  This will allow Customers to select a template, the click Add Request using the selected template.
Display Added Date filter on Request Search Page Displays a Added Date filter on the Search Requests Page.
Display Modified Date filter on Request Search Page Displays a Modified Date filter on the Search Requests Page.
Display Assigned Date filter on Request Search Page Displays a Assigned Date filter on the Search Requests Page.
Display Due Date filter on Request Search Page Displays a Due Date filter on the Search Requests Page.
