Archive Articles

Purpose: Enable and Use the Article Archive  Feature

Prerequisites:  Novo Knowledge Base 

Configuration Steps:
  1. Browse to Admin>Setup>Knowledge Base>Settings
  2. Near the top of the Knowledge Base section, enable Archive Articles



  3. Save the setting
What happens now? ....
 
Once an article has been edited, admin users that have Edit permissions for an article will see the Archive list below the Function buttons as shown below:
 
 
After the Archive Articles setting has been enabled, every version of the article is stored in this list until cleared.  This enables you to quickly revert back to a previous version of an article.
 
 
Revert to an article by selecting the desired archive in the list. 
 
After the selected archive is loaded, you can click Restore to restore this archive to be the Current article. When an archive is restored, it takes the place of the current which is moved down one spot in the Archive list. You can also click Clear to remove a selected archive. 
 
Clear All removes all archives for the article
