Understanding how to use the Knowledge Base with Multiple Languages & Date Formats

If multiple Knowledge Base languages have been purchased you'll be able to add additional languages, assign users to these languages and begin flagging articles that need to be translated (with KB-Platinum 3.0).  Articles are stored in the system and referenced by a language identifier.  When users (assigned to a specific language) add articles, these articles are stored in the system in the language of the user that added the article.

Within the Admin section of the Knowledge base, users will only see the articles in the language they are assigned to (i.e. an English user will only see English articles and a Japanese user will only see Japanese articles and the English articles that are Awaiting Translation into Japanese).

Within the Public section of the Knowledge Base, you can reference/view articles in other languages (if they have been added in that language) by one of two methods: 1) through a language identifier in the URL (i.e. http://support.novosolutions.com/kb_support/default.asp?id=101&Lang=1 - note the Lang= value) or 2) by selecting the Language Settings at the top right (if this has been enabled in the Admin Settings) and changing the language.
