Step 2: Edit Content - Using the HTML WYSIWYG Editor

A versatile feature of the Novo Software is the integrated content editor.  In version 5.0 we replaced the CuteEditor for .NET with the more streamlined and user friendly Telerik Rad Editor.  This powerful third-party WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) browser-based online HTML\XHTML Editor utilizes the familiar Microsoft Word like interface for entering and formatting text.  You can create anchors and hyperlinks, ordered and unordered lists as well as inserting tables and mulitmedia content.  Content can easily be updated by users.
To open the Editor:
  • Browse to Articles and click the Add Sub-Articles button.
  • The Properties tab is displayed by default.
  • At the minimum, enter the Short Title and any addtional information as needed for the Ariticle
  • Click the Content tab to open the Editor.

The articles in this section will show you how to create and edit content, place images and media files within the content, and automatically format size and file limitations as you work.
