Purpose:  In addition to the article content, you can display pertinent information about the Article (i.e. Author, Editor, Article ID, etc.).

Prerequisites:  Admin User must have the following Role permissions:
  • Access to Knowledge Base Settings
  • Manage Articles Field Ordering

Besides the article content you have the ability to display additional information about the Article.  To display or hide the information, browse to Admin->Setup->Knowledge Base->Settings.  In the Articles section you can choose to display the information in the Admin interface, or the Public interface, or both interfaces.  These are global settings that will affect all Articles.
You can determine the order in which the information is displayed.  Browse to Admin->Setup->Core/General->Field Ordering and click Article View.  To reposition a field, place your cursor on a row unti it turns into a 4-headed arrow.  Hold down the left mouse button and drag the field to its new position then release the left mouse button.  See the related article on Field Ordering for more information.
