Step 3 - Setup Indexing (Help Desk and Knowledge Base Only)
| If your software includes the Novo Knowledge Base you have a choice between the two Microsoft indexing methods: MS Indexing and Windows Search.
You can use either method on Windows 2003 Server, but MS Indexing is not recommended by Microsoft for use with Windows 2008 Server or later versions. For this reason and since MS Indexing does not index MS Office 2007 documents, Novo recommends the use of Windows Search on either server product. Documentation for Windows Search is provided below:
