Switching to the Novo Mail Service from ATS

Purpose: Switching from Auto Ticket Service (ATS) to the Novo Mail Service (Novo Mail)

Prerequisites:  Novo Mail Service (Auto Ticket Service) is purchased and enabled in the license

Steps:

  1. After the update, on the Web Server, go to Services and stop the Auto Ticket Service
  2. Note the following information from the ATS Configurator:
    • Pop3
      • Email Address
      • Mail Server
    • MAPI/Exchange
      • Email Address
  3. In the newly updated version 4.7 Novo software, browse to Admin>Setup>Core/General>Settings
  4. Scroll down to the Other section; check Enable Mail Service and click Save
  5. Browse to Admin>Setup>Core/General>Incoming Email Settings
  6. See the related articles below to begin configuring Novo Mail.
  7. Once the configuration is complete, restart the Novo.Scheduler service
  8. Once Novo Mail is configured, the Auto Ticket Service should be manually uninstalled
