Attachment Store

New Feature - Attachment Store

We've added a new feature named the Attachment Store. This will allow you to upload an attachment to a single location, then refer to it from anywhere in the Novo app where attachments can be attached. We see this feature being useful for common documents (like a service contract) that might be associated with multiple articles, assets, requests, companies or individuals. So now you can simply refer to the single document from anywhere without the necessity to re-upload the document.
 
By the way, the ability to add attachments to Accounts or Contacts is also new in version 5.0. See Accounts & Contacts for more info.


You can add attachments directly to the Store for use in any of the 5 applications: Articles, Assets, Requests, Accounts or Contacts. Or, if an attachment will be required for all of the applications, you can add it to the Common area.
 
Note: You will not see Attachment Store options for applications that you did not purchase.


When attaching a file to any of the 5 applications, you’ll now see the Attachment Store button. Press it to associate one of the previously stored files. By the way, we've also added the ability to select up to 5 attachments before uploading.
